Rachel Hatfield has over 25 years of healthcare experience, gained across academic, practice-based, pharma, agency and consulting positions. She has worked in the majority of therapy areas, including extensively in rare disease, offering strategic counsel to clients ranging from start-up and early-stage biotechs, diagnostics specialists, pharmaceutical companies and over-the-counter and consumer organizations, and at all stages of product lifecycles. She has particular expertise in market analysis, cross-functional strategy design and delivery, team onboarding and training, stakeholder engagement and launch planning, and performance assessment approaches, including value and impact measurement and KPI setting. Rachel originally qualified as a pharmacist, subsequently gaining clinical experience in hospital and community settings, and has a PhD in delivery systems for gene therapy and DNA vaccines.
